Sometimes the doctors and nurses who care for cancer patients are fortunate to share in the happy moments when battles are won, but often the struggle against the vicious disease brings frustration and tears at various stages. TAMC’s Dr. Peter Goth earns Governor’s Award for EMS services
When an emergency happens, staff at TAMC are well-equipped to handle the situation, thanks, in large part, to the tireless work of Peter Goth, MD, FACEP, medical director of TAMC’s Emergency Department and Critical Care Transport. Maine Emergency Medical Services honored Dr. Goth’s decades of pioneering work with a prestigious Governor’s Award at a ceremony at the State House Hall of Flags on Monday, May 18.
