On Tuesday, February 7, TAMC will host a blood drive from noon until 5 p.m. at A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital in Presque Isle. Walk ins are welcome, but to save time call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit www.givelife.org to set up an appointment. All donors will receive refreshments and have a chance to win a Burton Snowboard.

The amount of blood that is needed increases each year, yet only five percent of people in the United States give blood. Blood donation is a special gift because human blood can’t be created in a laboratory – it is only available because people donate. The process only takes a little more than an hour, and it is a really easy way to make a difference.
