Volunteers are an important part of the TAMC family. They help our organization to provide quality care and service, while providing an important linkage to the community.
We accept volunteers 14 years of age and older to fill positions in a variety of settings, including the Customer Service Desk, Gift Shop, Women & Children's Unit, Medical / Surgical Unit, Public Relations, Educational Services, Medical Library, Women's Health Center, Lifeline, Administration, and in clinic settings such as the Oncology and Ostomy Clinics. We also have a number of volunteers who provide activities and support on a regular basis to patients in our long term care facility, and others who donate their time and energy to work on special projects, mailings and health fairs.
Our volunteers donate an average of 1200 hours per month, both on a regular basis and by working on special projects. This saves TAMC thousands of dollars per year and allows a full range of services to be offered. Our volunteers are an integral part of the TAMC family.
Our Volunteer Services Manager can help match your interests and talents with the volunteer opportunities that are currently available. Contact TAMC's Volunteer Services Manager for more information:
